My Zen Garden in Sand Tray Therapy Class
I really enjoyed creating the Zen Garden Sand tray for sand tray therapy class. It was extremely relaxing to play in the sand and create this tray! I chose the trees because to me trees symbolize life and water. When I'm stressed I love being outside, being in nature so I chose the green leaves and placed them at the left corner of my garden. Circles have always symbolized completeness to me since they have no ending. I love these decorative rocks so I decided to place them in a circle and make a labyrinth around them. I'm so thankful these shells were given to me at the miniature swap because they were perfect for my garden. I love shells, touching them that have such an earthy feel to them. Lastly, Sand dollars!! are so unique and beautiful. I also noticed how I made circles around each tree, not sure why but this was an observation. Afterwards, I was looking at my sand tray therapy zen garden and trying to figure out why it looked so bare. I wanted to add more but I felt it was complete. I am satisfied with my garden, looking at these pictures remind me of great feelings.
