For all my young clients who might be experiencing nightmares I make a homemade batch of Sweet Dreams Aromatherapy Perfume. For girls I put this perfume in a bottle. For the boys I put it in a spray bottle and call it "Sweet Dreams Aromatherapy Spray".
You can also put the perfumed aromatherapy in a bottle and use a light bulb ring to put the scent in. Only adults should attempt to use the light bulb ring.
As always, before I offer a child anything in aromatherapy I check with the parents first. It is up to the parent to apply any perfume on a child.
Some children can be highly allergic to any oil or scent so it is wise to ask the parent before attempting to make this for a young client.
If the parent does not want to put any type of perfume on a child they can opt for the spray, or put the aromatherapy perfume on a stuffed animal that can be placed in the child's bed
Materials: Jojoba oil (Or other carrier oil) Small bottle or spray bottle
Sweet pea essential oil
1. Pour the jojoba oil into the bottle until almost full.
2. Drop about 8-10 drops of the essential oil into the bottle until you reach your desired scent (Never put essential oils directly on skin. Always dilute them with a carrier oil such as jojoba oil).
3. Put the top on and shake well. Put a drop or two on the wrist or a stuffed animal. If using a spray, spay the pillows and blankets lightly.
4. Keep out of the sunlight.
