Sandtray Therapy Class-Sandtray with Bridge Journey-Student #11

In viewing my sand tray in a sand tray therapy training class, I am noticing that Winnie the Pooh is in the back of the sand tray with the soldier along side of it-both facing the same direction. The truck is close to running over the soldier and the soldier’s arms are up in the air in a surrender stance. A dinosaur figure is in very close to proximity of to Pooh as if it is either coming to attack Pooh or in conversation with Pooh.
Two figures are facing in the same direction behind the truck and dinosaur whereas the shark and another dinosaur are facing the same direction but on each side of these two figures. A bridge and a fence are also in the sand tray dividing and separating the rest of the figures from a flower and a key. The princess is at the far end of the sand tray standing on the far end but appearing as if she is almost straddling the area of the fences/borders and the area where the key and flower are located.
I think Pooh and the soldier represent two sides of me-one that wears a mask and likes for everyone to believe that all is fine. I think the soldier is representative of my unwillingness to ask for help because I like for my family and friends to feel I am capable of handling all of my trials-financially-without having to ask for help. But I need to be able to ask for help when needed instead of trying to bear all things alone as I do not have a support system when the support I need is there.
I think the animals and other items before the barrier represent other masks that I wear such as the chameleon which is able to adapt to situations. The shark represents my anger at carrying weight that I do not need to carry but chose to carry anyway. The zebra is representation my feelings of feeling out of place at times like I do not belong.
I am now noticing that the soldier and the princess each have their hands up in a surrender mode as if saying “I am tired of carrying this load”. The fence/barrier represents the walls I have erected of not needing others for help that I need to tear down. I think the flower and key represent how I will feel once I release the weight of trying to appear as if something I am not and coming into acceptance and awareness of who I am instead of trying to appear perfect which is not possible.
