My Sand Tray Therapy Experience (Anger Management)

My Anger Management Sand Tray Therapy experience that I completed was a design of a livid incident that occurred in my past. I did not enjoy feeling like this at that moment. This particular incident was when I was a teenager and one of my old friends started treated me wrong. She was talking about me to others. I found out by my other friends. My friends stated that she was going around talking about me and putting me down. I didn’t believe it at first, until I overheard her say that she couldn’t stand me. Once I heard that statement, I got really angry. I thought to myself, why she is going round talking about me instead of confronting me, so I confronted her. Then I recognize the true anger rage was coming out of me due to the fact that it was someone who I thought was a very close friend to me. I felt discomfort with making this anger sand tray. This sand tray experience is an illustration of my need to express, create, and self-actualize my personal encounters in existence of my angry side. It conveys an expression of a genuine landscape in a miniature size of my anger. I do not like to get like this because it is not really healthy to get upset at times. It only occurs when I get frustrated and annoyed. Each miniature describes a part of my anger that in which I felt like is a reflection of my incense. Creating this sand tray helped me to express an overwhelming landscape of my vision and thoughts of anger. This was a reflective project to do because I have learned a way to express my feeling through the making an angry sand tray. This sand tray gives me a sense of unhappiness and a feeling of discomfort. This would help me grow and maximizes my encounters when I am irritable. This design is a reminder of dimness for me. I will always reflect back on how this project can help me in applying an understanding of anger.
