My Inner Child Scrapbook for a Play Therapy Class

Creating my play therapy inner child scrapbook was so much fun. It truly brought back so many memories of things that I loved to do as a little girl. I had forgotten just how much I love to skate and play with dolls.
Working on the inner child play therapy scrapbook not only helped me in connecting with my inner child, it also helped me in connecting with my eight year old daughter, Elon.
She is constantly asking me to play with her and although I do play with her every day, I have been viewing it as a chore and something extra to do because I have so much to do. Since the project, I am playing with her even more and truly enjoying it.
I have been skating twice in the past week and it has been so much fun. In addition to connecting with my inner child, I also connected to my creative side.
I took great pride in collecting the play therapy items that went into my play therapy inner child scrapbook because they were all representative of that shy, yet fun and playful little girl inside of me.
Thank you for this opportunity in play therapy to reconnect with my inner child!
