for Elementary Students Grades Kindergarten to 5th

The Gingerbread Warm Fuzzy Present Box Guidance Lesson Activity for School Counselors and teachers:

Rationale: This is a fun activity for teachers, or counselors, to leave a tiny gift in student’s desk during the holiday season. The Gingerbread Warm Fuzzy will be hiding in the classroom watching to see who has good behavior.

Materials:

Box Template Below

Ribbon

Tiny Gifts such as candy, toys, or notes

Directions:

1. Student’s can cut out the box below and fold where the fold lines are.

2. Tape the box on each end, leaving one final end open.

3. Ask student’s to leave the box on top of their desk for the Gingerbread Warm Fuzzy.  Slip in a candy treat, toy, or note that fits in the box.

4. Tie with a ribbon.

5. Place in student’s desk when they are not in the room. I usually put it in the student’s desks when they go home for the evening and they find it the next morning.
