Personality Sand Tray Therapy 1

This was my sand tray therapy class personality tray. I forgot that were supposed to focus on our colors so I just used miniatures that I felt spoke about my personality as I see it. My colors (just for reference) were blue and then my secondary was orange (green was one point away from orange and my gold was very low). The first thing I put in my tray was my huge Dragon, I felt very drawn to him. I have a dark side that I don't show a lot of people so I put him in the corner and kind of hid him behind a wall of sand. I also have a bad temper that I am trying to gain control over which could represent my dragon as well. Next I put in the wolf and the tree. My wolf represents my need to protect the people I care about and my strong side. There is a little purple heart to represent caring and love for others. The tree could be to keep me grounded and aware that I can't save everyone. I put a little nature section in the other corner with leaves and a bright butterfly, the clear stones, a bird and I made what was supposed to be a little lake in front of it. Nature is something that is very close to me, it brings to peace to and I love being near water or in the woods. Birds represent freedom to me and that is something I want to achieve as I sometimes feel trapped in my responsibilities. I have a tendency to see butterflies everywhere I got so that could be a representation of carefreeness and beauty, which I hold very dear. In the front is the little cinderella dressed up as a maid, she is hardworking and sometimes feels like she can never catch a break, that is me. Next to her are a cupcake and a big slice of cake. They are both brightly colored and happy looking, I love sweets and I try to be sweet so that could be why I put those there. I have a unicorn and bright stars to the left of her to represent imagination and creativity. A lot of my life is serious but I really like to be creative and abstract. On the right are two big sparkly flowers to again represent beauty and happiness. Lastly in front of the dragon is a little alien to represent something weird because I have a tendency to be very strange sometimes, but not a lot of people see that side of me either.
