An Inner Child Scrapbook for Play Therapy Class

The scrap book for play therapy was a very good experience. I got a chance to go back to some good times in my child hood. The first page asked me to either write an apology letter to my inner child if I had left her behind, or a letter saying how I would always keep my inner child present. I feel lucky that I am able to not take myself too seriously. I have a spouse who still enjoys his inner child as well. There are days when we have to act mature, and responsible, but those days that we have a chance to act silly, we do. I think that laughter is the biggest part of not loosing your inner child. Laughing is one of my favorite things to do. It would be a sad world without it.
There was a section that asked us to go to the store and buy ourselves a treat. I found a toy that I remembered playing with as a child. I was so excited to see it. It was the tubes of some sort of plastic material that looks like balloons. I taped the entire package to the scrapbook, so I have been anticipating getting the scrapbook back so I can have some fun with it.
The last page was involved writing an invitation for you birthday party. One thing I can say is that I have always had birthday parties. Growing up, my mom would throw me one every year, and then when I got to my teenage years, I would have smaller gatherings, of course because I was so cool. My ideal party would have been at Disney world. I never went when I was younger, but think that a trip to Disney world may be due before my 30th birthday.

All in all, this play therapy class scrapbook was a good idea of what I enjoyed as a child, and some of the things that I still enjoy. I love my inner child.
